Not that we need an excuse to celebrate … However, 16th June is Sussex Day and The Countryman Pub and Restaurant in Shipley, West Sussex will be featuring produce from around the area in a day long event with a lunchtime BBQ, afternoon teas, and finishing with a gourmet evening.
Sussex Day was launched in 2007 and it has become a popular way for residents of Sussex to celebrate their county’s rich heritage. Every year businesses, employers, schoolchildren and traders celebrate and shout loud about everything that is good about Sussex.
